The BlackWatch Track team started in the summer of 2022, led by former collegiate track sprinter, Coach KD Howard.
This program is for youth and adult athletes of all experience levels. In addition to track and field fundamentals and max velocity training, practices include strength programs, core conditioning, and flexibility sessions to maximize performance and minimize injury risk. Practices and meets are mandatory as commitment and consistency are required to make progress on the track. We believe that every athlete deserves the best possible training experience, and our coaches are ready to provide that.

A Georgia native, Coach Howard ran track at Redan High School and then continued his track and field career at Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. He has been coaching since 2010 and had this to say about his experience with track and field:
"For me track was an amazing experience. It taught me that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to if you continue to work hard. Through training I learned my favorite coaching motto,
'What would you do if fear wasn’t a factor?'
It was so much fun. I made unforgettable memories and created bonds that lasted decades."
