Blackwatch history
2016
BlackWatch first opened its doors in 2015 at 19220 US-280 as a sports performance facility with services for athletes of all backgrounds and ages. In addition to sports performance training, our facility offered sports camps, skills training, and batting cage, indoor field, and basketball court rentals.

2020
In 2019, BlackWatch moved from its first location to its current location at 157 Resource Center Parkway. At this time, we shifted our focus to cheer and tumbling while also still providing sports performance to maximize our offering to our athletes and the community.
2021
Our first All-Star team competed in the 2021-2022 season with the goal of adding teams each year!
Blackwatch certifications
At BlackWatch, the safety of our athletes is our top priority. Because of this, BlackWatch Cheer and Sports Performance holds and maintains the following standards:
- A member of the United States All-Star Federation (USASF)
- Credentialed as a Safe@AllStar Gym through USASF
- 1 of 10 gyms chosen nationally to work with the American Sports Medicine Institute on developing and implementing injury prevention protocols for the sport of cheer.
- All coaches are CPR/AED/First Aid Certified.
- 1 of 10 gyms chosen nationally to work with the American Sports Medicine Institute on developing injury prevention protocols for the sport of cheer.
- All coaches are Concussion Certified.
- All Coaches and Administrative staff have background checks for no records of statewide criminal and national multi-state sex/other offender list.
- All coaches have employment authorized through the I-9 process.
